Vacation to Go | New York- Part 1
Hello all! I know it’s been a while since my last post. My life is a crazy mess, but I love it! I just got back from an absolutely-amazing-never-forget-experience-overwhelmingly-breathtaking trip to New York. My grandmother surprised me at the last minute with a spontaneous adventure to The
Big Apple! It doesn’t get any sweeter than that.
My plan for this session is to enlighten you guys on the necessities for globetrotting. Especially for those who don’t travel on a regular basis, these tips will definitely come in handy to you guys. First, let’s start with a must-see destination:
Top of the Rock Observation Deck
This place is absolutely amazing! If you don’t get to see New York from this deck, you are going to miss out on some of the best skyline views of your life! It almost makes you realize how insignificant your little, tiny body is in this huge, gigantic mass of land we call Earth. Even more when you think about how insignificant the size of Earth is compared to the rest of the universe. I can just go on and on, but I’ll stop.
Another thing you globetrotters out there should know…I almost feel ignorant having to tell you guys this, but yes. I must. Here it goes. It tends to get a bit colder up there on deck. For some strange, odd, and unimaginable reason, the wind currents get a bit stronger up there *hear my sarcasm*. I find it my duty to tell all of you to make sure you are wearing the appropriate attire for such an occasion. Otherwise, you’ll freeze your butt off and not enjoy a minute of your experience up there. Homegirl be up there lookin’ real fly in high-heels and a strapless tube top. Not gonna happen.
Last, but definitely not least, I find it extremely important to share your experiences with the people you love! All we have in this world is each other and our relationships with one another. Cherish one another’s company and realize that traveling is more than just about taking photos. It’s about growing in our relationships and embracing the love we have for one another. That is what makes the experience an unforgettable one. That is what truly matters. Find value in what you love. Find value in life.
Check back in for New York- Part 2 (there is way too much to write for one post)
