Portland, Oregon: I Get Lost?!

I finally got around to putting this up! My trip to Portland, Oregon was strictly business. I was there for a business conference, so I wasn’t able to film much. Most of the video includes me talking about my experience than actually filming it. Still, I had a lot of fun and wanted to share my highlights with you guys.
For starters, I got lost…more than once. LOL! This always happens to me, though. It’s OK. It was my first time traveling alone. So, getting lost alone was definitely something new for me. Thank you Lord for being with me. The hotel I stayed at was absolutely amazing. I stayed at the Marriott Waterfront hotel in downtown Portland. There was a really nice park right across the street from my hotel overlooking the river. The staff was courteous and my room was always clean. If you guys are ever in the area, I definitely recommend this hotel. Room service was exceptional.
Now for the embarrassing part. I took the wrong tram. LOL! So, if there’s one piece of advice I can give you globe trotters out there, it’s to make sure you study your tram routes before you wander the city. Tram A travels clockwise around the city, while Tram B travels counter-clockwise. Then there’s C and D and who knows how many more. I can’t say I was a fan of the weather. I love my Texas and wouldn’t trade Texas heat for anything, as unbearable as it might be sometimes.
Overall, my experience was great. Portland isn’t somewhere I would want to live, but then again I didn’t see much. So, I might change my mind on my second visit there. Be sure to check out my video to hear all about my mishaps. Safe travels.
