Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation Review
The all new Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation is what everyone has been talking about in the beauty community lately. I featured this foundation in my previous video and kinda hinted I would be doing a review on it soon. I know the majority of you guys are waiting to see my hair tutorial using the new Hot Tools Curling Iron I got in addition to this foundation, but I’m still working on setting that up. So, for the time being, I thought I’d share a review on this product since it’s still fairly new on the market. It has been highly compared to the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation, and for a good reason. If you guys would like to see a comparison between the Urban Decay All Nighter vs Estee Lauder Double Wear foundations, tweet me and let me know!
We can’t do an Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation review without talking about the variety of shades offered. There are 24 available shades numbered from .5 to 12.0. Basically, if the number ends in .5 the shade comes with a pink undertone, and if the number ends in a .0 the shade comes with a soft warm undertone. Below is a short description for all 24 available shades:
9.75 (dark beige w/golden undertone)
I usually always have to go with the lightest shade in the bunch, but because of the vast variety of shades in this collection I was able to choose from one of the darker shades. I have an extremely fair complexion, so I decided to modestly stick to the shade 1.5. Oh my goodness, it was white. There is so much pigment in this foundation, and a little definitely goes a long way. I believe I would’ve still been safe with a 2.5, maybe even a 3.5! This foundation does oxidize, so it does turn a shade darker once applied. Keep that in mind when choosing your shade!
Where to get this must-have gem? You can get it at ULTA, Sephora, or shop for it below! The 24 shades above are also clickable links.
URBAN DECAY VS. ESTEE LAUDER:
This foundation works great for people with acne or acne-prone skin. It’s full coverage with a matte finish. You don’t have to add extra layers to cover up imperfections. It’s oil free and matte, but I have dry skin and it doesn’t wear flat. I’m still able to maintain a flawless finish throughout the entire night. I have pale skin, so it’s hard for me to find the right shade in foundation most of the time. Like I said earlier, the variety of shades in this collection allows you to choose from a bunch to find your perfect match. I love that it comes with a pump, so you’re able to get every last drop of product and make the purchase worth your money. Not only that, but it keeps the product clean and mess-free. I think the closest to a dupe you’ll find for this foundation is the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer. I realize many don’t have $40 to spare on high-end makeup, and this foundation is a cheaper alternative for a satisfying $9.99!
